Our IT Support Team is what sets us apart from other Akron IT companies. Since day one, we’ve had very little turnover—a fact we are extremely proud of. Each IT expert on our team shares our core values and brings a unique set of skills, experience, and expertise to PCR.
Instead of one or two people managing your IT in-house, when you partner with PCR, you have an entire team of experts managing your Information Technology Systems. We are able to dedicate an IT Management specialist to assist you wherever needed. In other words, if you have a question or if a problem arises, we always have someone on-hand to help.

Patrick Carroll
President
CompTIA A+
Pat founded Pat’s Computer Rescue and PCR Business Systems in 2004. He has more than 15 years of experience driving technology strategy for local businesses. He has a degree in Industrial Management from the University of Akron but is most proud of his continual learning that has led to the industry best process PCR delivers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and golfing, hiking, and running. He lives in Akron with his wife and three young children.
Jon Carroll
Chief Technology Officer
CompTIA, Network+, Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA)
Jon has over 20 years experience working in desktop management, network engineering, project management and information security for small businesses, universities, and large corporations. He specializes in executing and managing new projects and product offerings for the businesses PCR works with. Prior to working at PCR, Jon worked for over 10 years as a systems administrator at FedEx, and many of the process and procedures learned from FedEx have made their way into the PCR Process. Jon lives in Akron with his wife, Amy, and three young children.
Shaun Herrick
Director, Service Delivery
18 Years with PCR!
Shaun has been with the PCR Team since the early days. He was the first employee Pat hired back in 2006. Shaun works behind the scenes setting up projects, leading the service team and working on new product offerings for our customers. When he isn’t working, Shaun enjoys working on his home, watching the Browns lose and spending time with his family. Shaun lives in Akron with his wife, Katie, and his sons, Jack and Stanley.
Scott Oeltjen
Director, Client Success
14 Years with PCR!
Scott joined the PCR team in May 2010. As the Director, Client Success, Scott ensures all of our customers receive an exceptional customer service experience. He takes pride in making IT an asset for the businesses he serves. Scott graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics and a master’s in Public Administration from the University of Akron in 2010. Scott is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and a loyal supporter of our Cleveland teams. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, reading, working out and lives in Akron with his wife, Krissy and two boys, Oscar and Arthur.
Amanda Carroll
Director, Business Development
15 Years with PCR!
Amanda joined the PCR Team in 2010. She is responsible for all aspects of Business Development within PCR including business strategy and company growth. Prior to working at PCR, she was a sales and marketing manager for Ohio.com. Amanda also enjoys gardening and is a member of the Akron Garden Club. She loves running and spending time with her family. Amanda lives with her husband, Pat, and their three children in Akron.
Ethan Green
Director Service Delivery

A graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems, Ethan has over 15 years of experience supporting small and medium-sized business IT infrastructure. Ethan enjoys spending time with family, visiting local breweries, golfing, hiking, biking, and making his own homemade wine.
Cameron Bitecofer

Cameron is a highly skilled IT technician who has worked in the IT field for several years. He fell in love with computers at an early age and originally wanted to be a game developer. In his free time Cameron likes to spend time gaming, watching in-depth TV shows, and hanging out with friends and family.
Steve Bitecofer
Support Technician
2 Years with PCR!
Steve joined the PCR team in 2022 and has worked in the Managed IT Services industry since 2013. He currently lives in West Akron and enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, hiking, watching football, and playing video games. Steve went of the University of Akron where he studied Applied Business and Computer Information Systems.
Lynette Bowen
Dispatcher/Office Manager
10 Years with PCR!
Lynette joined the PCR Team in June 2014, taking on the role of Office Manager/Dispatcher and has over 13 years of experience supporting IT Departments. She oversees all aspects of our office operations, as well as managing our service boards and ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. Lynette excels in organization and task management, which helps make PCR’s helpdesk an industry leader.
Lynette is passionate about her community and is actively involved in her church. She and her family most recently served with the hurricane relief efforts in Houston, where they installed drywall in two homes that were gutted by water damage. Lynette lives in Akron with her husband, son and daughter.
Kevin Carroll
Controller
10 Years with PCR!
Kevin “Uncle Kev” Carroll has been working for PCR since the business started in 2004. He worked many years behind the scenes, keeping PCR’s books, and in 2014 he took on the role as the company’s Controller. Kevin is a retired accountant. When not at PCR, he enjoys hiking in the Metro Parks with his wife and dog and riding his vintage Harley. Kevin has two children, six grandchildren and lives in Cuyahoga Falls.
Brandon Chaw
Senior Support Technician
12 Years with PCR!
Brandon joined PCR in April 2012. Brandon specializes in fixing software-related issues. He attended Cloverleaf High school, The Medina County Career Center and Full Sail University. In his free time, he likes to play video games, read and draw. He lives in Seville with his wife, son and daughter.
Drew Dinan
Director, Marketing
8 Years with PCR!
Drew grew up Cuyahoga Falls and is a graduate of the University of Akron. After college he moved to the Florida Keys, where he split time working as a writer and on deep-sea fishing boats. He now lives in Bend, Oregon, with his wife and son and has traded in fishing for trail running— having completed 10 ultra marathons. In addition to working for PCR, Drew is a columnist for ultrarunning.com.
Kevin Fitzgerald

Kevin obtained his degree in Computer Technology after spending four years in the Navy. He lives in Massillon and enjoys woodworking and working with his hands around the house. Kevin also enjoys video games and sitting down with a good book. He likes Indian food, hates liver and onions, and has two Boston terriers.
DeAndre Hairston-Karim

A new addition to the PCR team, DeAndre is a highly skilled technician with a strong passion to learn. An Akron native, he went to school for Networking Systems Administration. DeAndre has been an actor for over 17 years, and in his free time enjoys playing video games.
Brandon Harris
Senior Support Technician
9 Years with PCR!
Brandon joined the PCR Team in March 2015. He is a customer service guru and excels at troubleshooting and solving any computer issues that come his way. In addition to his extensive knowledge in PC and MAC repair, he is proficient in building gaming rigs. When he’s not working for PCR, he enjoys going to Lake Erie Monsters games and participating in all E-sports communities.

Steve joined the PCR Team in 2017. He has been working in the IT field since 1997. He lives in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife and two sons. When he isn’t solving complex networking issues, Steve enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and camping … and hosting a slightly over-the-top Halloween event every year with his brothers.

Kevin was welcomed to the PCR Team in July 2015. He lives in Tallmadge with his wife, Ashley, and son, Maxwell. His No. 1 priority is spending time with his family. Kevin is a self-taught DIY’er! He enjoys the challenge of fixing anything, including cars, mechanical and electrical devices, and is always helping family with computer problems. When he’s not working, he finds himself constantly researching/trying to learn about the latest technology. Kevin also loves cooking oriental/specialty foods (like his Grandma Baggao does) and really enjoys using his grills/smokers!
Ricky Merrill

Ricky has been with the PCR Team since 2008 and has over 12 years of experience working in the IT industry. Ricky specializes detecting and solving recurring hardware and software issues for clients, implementing automated solutions to make the lives of our end users easier, and he has an excellent ability to quickly learn and understand new software. Ricky also received a certification from Apple University and has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 2007. When he isn’t busy at work, he is an avid hobbyist who enjoys electronic gaming, volleyball, fishing, paintball, board games and just hanging out with friends. Ricky lives with his wife and puppy in Green and most recently became a deacon at his church.
Kyle Stebbins

Kyle was welcomed to the PCR Team in July 2015. Kyle first discovered his love for computers when he took a computer class in high school. After graduation, he attended the University of Akron and acquired his degree in Computer Information Systems. Kyle is a lifelong resident of Akron. When he isn’t working, he can be found fishing or working on cars. He is a huge car enthusiast, and especially loves Fords and his Mustang.
Andrew Unger
Onsite Support Technician

Andrew recently joined the PCR team in August 2021. Andrew is a talented IT technician who graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Kent State University. When he isn’t working as an onsite technician, Andrew enjoys cooking out with friends and getting outside. He currently lives in Akron, OH with his two “very ornery” kitties.
Lucas Wright
Support Technician
5 Years with PCR!
A recent addition to the PCR Team, Lucas brings with him IT experience as well as enthusiasm! Lucas has always had a passion for technology since joining the robotics club in high school, and is excited to expand his skills and knowledge. Lucas lives in Ellet with his new wife, puppy, and two cats. His favorite restaurant is Saffron Patch, he enjoys PC and tabletop gaming, and likes to sip on a good French press coffee or IPA!
